Bone Marrow Transplant

Ave and Will
Ave and Will,
originally uploaded by bgwright.
As most of you know, one of my son's (William) has a rare immune deficiency. We received a phone call yesterday that my other son (Walker) is a perfect match for Will and so we may be moving towards a bone marrow transplant. This would most likely cure William. We will be disucssing this further with the physicians on Wednesday. You can keep updated on how Will is doing with this web site. We covet your prayers.

4.23.05: Brief Ministry Update

4.23.05: Brief Ministry Update

We are currently serving at www.gracewoodlands.org. Jamie, the children, and I are re-adjusting to being in Texas after having been gone for 6 years. Even so, this is a very exciting time in our lives. We are near family and able to spendtime with them that we have neverhadteh luxury of doing in our marriage until now. There is much happening in the area of my calling to serve as Asst. Pastor at Grace, the least of which is not the fact that I am preaching tomorrow over I Peter 4:12-19. The main idea behind this passage is that of what it means to be so fully identified with Christ that it can be said that we "participate in Him". The two points this week are that we participate in both Christ's Sufferings and in His Triumph. More on the idea of suffering to come ... peace.

A place to update, keep track, and touchbase

Welcome to the Wright blog. This Web log or journal will hopefully become an effective way for us to keep up with you and visa versa. There are certain blogs that I keep with you now and I have begun to truly appreciate their efforts. I hope this blog becomes that for you as well. Peace.
